I am a very new user to OLAP and data warehousing... Currently, I am trying to create a small prototype. However, I encountered problems.. Please advise me, THANKS a lot.
1)Can the user select based on a time duration eg
21/10/2000- 28/10/2001) and the status can be either "in or out". Cos when I am defining time_dimen, how do I define the status ? Can the time_dimen table consists of two primary keys(composite key), in this case, eg:status_id and time_id.
