We have a need to change the equipment component (CO) codes on a number of equipment items which have been involved in tracing actions. So far we have modified the CO code in the profile (EGI) for the installation equipment, modified the items' CO code in the tracing screen of the equipment register and modified CO code in the appropriate tracing record via MSO650. While MIMS accepts the mods these steps do not reset all the tracing history records and the item has an erroneous display when viewed in MSQ650. Can this be achieved without deleting and reentering all tracing entries?

Unless you do a mass data conversion, there is no other method to perform this function other than "rebuilding" the entire component history manually.
