If you have too many pages in your Component Palette and you are fed up with scrolling through them then you can:
a) rearrange the order of the pages using the "Properties" menu item found in the Component Palette's local menu (right-click Component Palette to access this menu)
b) rename the Component Palette tabs with shorter names so that more pages can fit onto the screen. You can do this via the "Properties" menu item (accessed as above).

Also concerning the Component Palette, there are two undocumented features that I recently found out about. One allows you to select a page of the component palette by simply moving your mouse cursor over the tab (which triggers a mouse-over rather than a mouse-click event). The other feature allows you to scroll through the component palette pages by hovering either side of the tab.
Check out this link (it works for Delphi 6 as well) which explains how to make these features available (N.B. these features are undocumented so do this at your own risk):

That's a good tip. Thanks, Clive. Very helpful.

Another good idea is to download GExperts. They let you set your .pas files and your component tabs in rows. It also lets you clean your directories (getting rid of all the '~' and whatever else you don't want) and has great search tools (lets you search .dfm &.xfm).
