Question:
I am currently using Crystal Reports 7.0 Pro and grab my data from an Oracle 7.3 database.
My quest is to be able to compile and distribute reports to users with out them having a copy of Crystal Reports.
I can compile the reports and load them on a users PC with no problem.
The problem is with re-freshing the report.
If the user has Oracle loaded on the PC, the report will re-fresh with no problem, if they don't the user can nver get past the database log-in box.
Is there any way to get around loading Oracle on the users PC?
Even adding all the third party .dll files doesnt make a difference.
Thanks,
Pat Kiernan
