Complicated question

Hi there,
I have developed two databases: one containing people info and one containing company info. The people and company databases are relational i.e. one company=many people.

I have created a lookup in the company and people databases showing the names of the people and company (s) respectively on the various records.

What I would like to do now is open the appropriate people record when I click on the person's name in the company database?
So in other words I would like Mr. X's file to open in the people database when I click on Mr X's name in the company database.

Is there any way for me to do this?
I have searched high an low and can find no reference to this.

use transparent button over the name filed and assign the script (go to related rec)to that button...
