I have been asked to find out the following.
our local school district has a autodial set up that calls students parents and leaves a message when school is cancelled, pta meeting etc. The parents get a ring and the message plays. Or if they dont pick up i tihink it leaves the message anyway or rings again after a set amount of time.
Our business wants to know if the BCM is capable of doing this for when global network outages occur, an autodial pre-recorded message is phone to all global key contacts.

This seems to me like it may not be possible to do on the BCM.
Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks

The BCM can't do that. You'd need something like a smart autodialer for that application. A smart autodialer could run behind the BCM and use the BCM's trunks.

Here's a place to start:

what kind of network outages are you looking to cover?

BCM 200/400 support an IVR application. No hardware needed, it is a software application that is enabled by key code. You may be able to write, or have written, an IVR application that could do what you are asking about.
