Hi all,

one of my users has forgotten his password for the blackberry - but to add insult to injury has disabled the wireless so "IT/set and lock" isn't working - any ideas at all on how to change it?

Many thanks
Andy

Enter anything else instead to reset the device to "factory defaults". This will wipe the device and it will need to be reloaded afterwards.

By default, BlackBerries are set to be wiped after 10 failed password attempts.

You'll just have to set the device back on the user's cradle to synchronize it again once it has been reset.

There is also another process involving the use of forensics to track down information on a BlackBerry, but this may be just too complex if there is nothing critical that exists only on the BlackBerry. You will find this PDF document near the end of this page:
