Can someone please explain the use of <xsd:complexContent>? The example I have is the image tag in html. Is complex content only used when there are just sub attributes and no elements?

An element must define a tagname. An element can define children and attributes. Use complex to define combinations of children and/or attributes.

So what's the difference between complexType and complexContent?

complexType is a container complexContent is a definition

So when would I use complexContent and when wouldn't I use it?

Ummm ok backwards... complexType is a declaration of a typed element. complexContent is a container for extension/restriction declarations of an existing complexType.

Now that makes sense to me but will it to you?

Have you found any good Tutorials on XML and XML Schema? My favorite on Schema so far is the Power Point Presentation at xfront. I have not done the labs yet [sadeyes] but the PP slides are excellent ! I highly recommend it.

Sorry for all the questions, but the book I am reading on XML did not explain it very well and I couldn't find anything on the web that seemed to. I shall look at the xfront link. Thanks for your help and understanding.
