Hey all....quick rundown of a complex report I have been working on.

1) There is a complexity field which can be 1, 2, 3 or 4.
2) That number determines the number of hours a person needs to spend on the project per week.
3) The hours needs to autopopulate the weekly date field until it hits the "In-Store Date"
4) At the end of the report, all hours for the week need to be totaled.

OK...all of that works great. My problem is thus:

A) At the very end of the report, after several calculations, it comes up with the running sum of the week. Now, they want this also to appear in a chart on the report. But of course, the Chart doesnt want to take the formulas. Any suggestions?

I would create a new query that is a clone of your current one and perform the calculations there. Set this "totals" query as the record source for a new report that is only the chart. Insert this new report as a subreport into your original report.

This method becomes problematic if you will frequently change the criteria that feeds this report, because of course you would have to modify both queries. But, it should work....
