I typicly get this and it is because it is skiping files in the Program Files\Symantec AntiVirus\SAVRT folder. What are these files and is it safe to skip them. somtimes 1 more files like this.

[Exceptions]
Unable to open the item \\{SERVER}\C:\Program Files\Symantec AntiVirus\SAVRT\####NAV~.TMP - skipped.

thanks

I think any tmp files are safe to exclude from backup and probably should be.

Yeah...tmp files are safe to exclude. Personally, I avoid backing up the Program Files directory due to the number of running processes. Besides...if you had to restore the app you'd do it through an install instead of restore. With that said, I do make sure that any DATA files hidden there are backed up.
