Hi
I'm running 8.6 on a Dell Poweredge W2K Server, backing up to and internal Super DLT.
The problem is that after the disks have been successfully backed up, the scheduled job fails to exit/hangs and ends up being marked as cancelled when the nightly reboot kicks in. A verify of the tape next morning is always successful.
Originally I thought it was the "verify after backup" that was hanging, but having disabled that option the job still hangs.
The tape is using the Veritas drivers.
Anyone any experience with this/suggestions?
