% Complete

Hello all,

In my MSP % complete situation from yesterday, 11-04, i had 63% complete.

When i change the actual date for 12-04, today´s situation.

-Project>Project Information> Status Date: 12-04-2011

The %complete automatically turns 66%...

And after it, if i turn,

-Tools>Tracking>Update Project>

That %complete instead of remain the same as 66%, turns 71%!!!

I don´t get it..what´s the point in that??

I'm trying to replicate the problem.

For that specific task:
what is the Start date?
what is the Finish date?

Is it a summary task?
If it is a summary task, please provide Start and Finish dates for a detail tasks.


What is the Project start date?
What was the Project status date before you changed it?
