Complete Removal and then Re-installing of MySQL

I am in need of someone who can tell me how to WIPE out MySQL then Re-install without the old information coming up.

I have done an unsintall through windows 2000 control panel.
Removed the registry indicators
Removed the Folder and sub Folders.

And everytime I get the same old Dbase that was just a test base.

I have book after book on MySql but apparently no one wanted to tell how to really get a fresh start with it.

Can anyone help!
