Complete List of IP Addresses

Hi there,
Im wondering if anyone can help me.
Im looking for a list/database of worldwide IP addresses and the countries they correspond to?
Is this something that can be gotten easily? how do I go about getting it?

IP addresses are not assigned by country although there are some regonal assignments

is the list you want, I bet

well I need to do a check from our website and get the ip address of the user in order to convert prices to their local currency. We have an old database with over 16000 records - but it seems incorrect so im trying to update it. Has anyone ever had to do this before?

As someone could connect to a proxy outside the region, or be dialling cross-country, this method wouldn't be infallible (OK, it would hit the majority of cases tho'!)

I'd suggest the easiest way would be to get the user to select what country / currency to use. Perhaps use a cookie to remember it (but ask the user's permission first!!)

Sorry I can't come up with anything better.
