Hello-

New to the IPO from the Definity world.
Is it possible to turn on a forward using only short codes?
I have a short code to turn on/off unconditional forwards - but that requires the user to also use the features/forward menu options to set the destination.
I would like to offer them a solution like this. Dial *01 plus 1234 (turns on a forward to extension 1234).

Is this possible?

thank you for your time and help,

john-

So does this mean for 2000 extensions - I would have to create a short code for each extension?
Thank you for your response,

john-

System Short Codes will allow each user to set their forwarding destination, and enable/disable it

If you still have your default short codes in place....

Dial *07* followed by the Forwarding Number, followed by # to set the destination

Dial *01 to turn Forward Unconditional ON

Dial *02 to turn Forward Unconditional OFF

TouchTone-

I finally found the list of shortcuts and played around with them.
I got it working.

Thank you for your time and help,
