Hey people,

Thank you in advance for all your help with this one.

I have a cisco 7200VXR and need to load a new IOS image onto it. I am very new to this cisco game and was wondering if anyone could please talk me through the process from beginning to end or point me to a good web page/site which will talk me through it. I realise this is a big ask but iv been searching around the internet and im struggling to find information that will really help me.

Thank you again

Andy

Go to Solarwinds.net and download there TFTP software. Leave the root directory as is. Make sure the ios upgrade is in the
tftp root directory or it will not work.

On your router router#copy tftp flash
and follow the prompts. Make sure you know the ip address of the tftp server. (which can be your machine).

YOu may want to back up the current ios first. router#copy flash tftp

You can always do a search on, copy flash tftp
