Hi,

I have determined how I want my report to look, and I have the formatting of my report down. My question is, how do I save or compile the format? I would like to send the report a query which contains different data values, but I would like to have that data formatted in the way that I have saved in Crystal Reports. Is there an .exe file that needs to be created in Crystal or something? Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You can compile a report, but not the format.
You can put parameters into the report to have it prompt for data, or you can launch it from VB and pass the data from a recordset. You can compile reports (create an EXE) but read the FAQ on this in the general forum. Ken Hamady, On-site/Phone Crystal Reports Training/Consulting
