I am in the process of rebuilding foxw apps for multiple win platforms. What I am finding is that I am now restricted to compiling on one pc only running win98. It won't compile on w95 w95b wnt4, (I haven't tried 2000 or me yet)the error is "cannot find xscrn" on all of these platforms except the w98. I have copied fpw26, genscrn, genscrnx, the project files and anything else I can think of connected to the project, and all into the C: drive Can anybody point me in the right direction. I think it is in the enviroment but I can't pin it down.

xscrn is not a fpw file. Do a search on the computer that does work for that file. Then copy it to the other computers by network for floppy disk.

David W. Grewe
Dave@internationalbid.net

We had a similar type of problem.

If the project has been moved from it's original location, you may have to "fool" it into thinking it's in it's original location by re-mapping the drive, changing the folder name, etc. See my other post under "Error in Genscrn".

Hi,

If the message is given by the project builder, it usually ask for the location of the files it can't find. You can locate it/them that way.

David.
