Hi,

I want to compile for the Beagleboard's TMS320C64x+ DSP (which has the C64x+ architecture).
(More info:
The code is in Fortran, and is that which is found in step 5a on the page:

Does anyone know of a Fortran compiler that supports C64x+ architecture?

Thanks,
PailWhale

Does it need to be free?

Green Hills supports that architecture but I've never ever used Green Hills. It is in almost every real-time mag. It is a full IDE from UML to code.

Hi xwb,

Is it this?

Is it free? I'm really just looking for a simple compiler like gFortran (I'm not sure if gFortran supports this architecture actually, so if you know about that it would be great). But if Green Hills can do the job, I'll take it.

Thanks,
PailWhale

gfortran supports the hardware listed in GFortran Hardware. If you look at C6X the C64X+ is in the list.

How you use it is beyond me - I haven't done cross compilations for over 20 years.

Green Hills is not free but they may have evaluation copies. Doesn't hurt to ask. Green Hills Contacts
