I've looked for another forum for other C++ compilers, so apologies if this is in the wrong place.

I used the mingw compiler to write a simple program using wxWidgets, but the final exe file size was 20Mb. Are there any other suitable compilers for use with wxWidgets that don't have this problem?

Also, has anyone used wxWdigets for development? I'm just interesed in any tips for cross-platform development.
