I'm using the RM/COBOL Compiler version 6.61.01 from Liant on a Unix platform. The compiler has some options like "-L" to have a list file including all the copyfiles. But where can I find what the other options do mean? I don't find anything in their manual or on their website. Anybody an idea what the "-Y" option means particularly?

1- You would have all this options in your Users Guide (supplied with your compiler when you bought it (you did buy it did you not!))

2- You did not look very well on their site.
in the first page you have a link "updated documentation"
If you click on this you are brought to a page with all the active manuals.

Though they have things that are not available on v 6.61 everything from 6.61 is there.

On page 6-14 of RM/COBOL User's Guide you will find documentation of the Y option. The Y option places a symbol table in the object program file, to be used for symbolic debugging or by Relativity symbol table import from object file.
