Can anybody suggest a good compiler/debugger?
I currently have visual studio 6 installed. I would like a compiler/debugger with the capabilities of visual studio 97 for stepping/variable values etc., however studio 6 doesn't have fortran, and I'm not sure it would be wise to have 97 and 6 installed on same system.

We use Compaq (formerly Digital) Visual Fortran which it completely integrated into Visual Studio. It is good but not cheap. Check it out at . Make sure you get the right version of Fortran for your version of Visual Studio.
