Report runs fine in CR developer (8.5).

In the compiled report, sections that should be suppressed are not. It happens with both 'always suppressed' sections and sections suppressed based on a formula.

Other info, in case it helps:
WinXP SP2 on the developer side, SP1 on the compiled reports machine(s). We did not have this problem with the same client computers when they were running Win98.

Suggestions? I'm updating a test computer with the same symptoms to SP2 to see if that helps.

Thanks, Sue

And these sections are behaving properly when you run the report in crystal itself?

Yes, in Crystal those sections are suppressed (correctly).

BTW, updating to SP2 on the compiled-version-only machine did not make a difference (still showing sections that are supposed to be suppressed).

If you recompile your report does that make a difference?
