hello all,
Im running RedHat 9 and I am a little new to it. Im trying to install snort and when I ./configure, I get the following
checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c
checking whether build environment is sane... yes
checking for gawk... gawk
checking whether make sets ${MAKE}... yes
checking for style of include used by make... mGNU
checking for gcc... no
checking for cc... no
checking for cc... no
checking for cl... no
configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH
How can I fix this? I guess I need to install a compiler.
Thanks in advance for your help.
