Hi, does anyone know if Crystal Reports Server XI (R2) can run on Windows Server 2008?

Thanks

After XI comes 2008 - so what does 3.1 refer to?

3.1 is the latest version of BOE XI. XI r2 is the earlier version. You're using CRS, though, and the most recent version of that is 2008 which shares some of the same base code as BOE XI 3.1.

oh, you mean 3.1 is the latest release!

It's the latest release of the full BusinessObjects Enterprise/Edge software. Crystal Report Server is in many ways just a very limited version of BOE and its latest version is 2008, which is based on the BOE 3.1 code base.
