Using Access 2000 I have been unable to open an Access database created with Access 2003 and was given an unrecognized format error message while attempting to open it.

Do you know if Access 2002 would open an Access 2003 database (this would mean a significant difference in upgrade pricing)?

Ideas on where to purchase Access upgrades or educational version Access software at a discount (or is Ebay the only option?)

IIRC 2002/2003 format MDBs are the same.

Ed Metcalfe.
