My company (mid-size installation with approx. 3000 Windows 95 clients on 12 distributed Novell 4.X servers)is considering installing SMS 2.0. Are there any major drawbacks to using SMS with Novell clients rather than using SMS with the more tightly integrated Win NT clients? <br>

MS was pressured to get SMS 2.0 out the door, so they dropped support for NetWare clients unless you are using the Novell IntraNetWare client32. The stock Microsoft Client for NetWare does not work. It drops the CAP connection.

Some of our PCs use the standard Microsoft Client for Netware (not sure what version -- whatever has come out within the last 2 years). What is the CAP connection? <br>

If there are problems with the standard Microsoft Client for Netware in using SMS, what does Microsoft recommend running as the Client software for Windows 95 PCs that are connected to a Novell 4.11 server? (these are not Win NT workstations)?
