I have Visual Studio 2008 Pro running on Windows 7 (64 bit) and am trying to extract data from an Access 2007 database. All the steps of attaching to the database work fine and I can actually see the data when I do a preview of it from the Form in the design view. However, I get the following message when trying to run it in Debug mode.

Windows detected that this program did not run properly.
To try and fix the problem, Windows has applied compatibility settings to the program. Windows will use the settings the next time you run the program.
If you noticed that the program did not run correctly, try running the program again.

I have tried rerunning the program as suggested many time, have also tried recreating the form attaching to a different access database but with no joy.

Program : vshost.exe
Publisher : Microsoft Corp
Location : c:\vb08sbs\chapter 18\My ADO Form.vshost.exe

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry I forgot to add that the Form does actually run but does not show any data in the database.
