Compatibility error between old PSP files and latest version

Hi,

I had someone create some psp files for me. However when they sent it to me the file loaded up as a normal image - I had no access to the text layers and the other layers. I am using version 10.0 PSP whereas the creater of the psp files is using an older version - I am not sure which version.

If anyone can help me with this problem it would be much appreciated.

What extension are the files in? Unless the person merged the layers or saved with an extension other than .psp or .pspimage, you should be able to open the files with the latest version. With an older version there would be problems opening newer files, but not the other way round.

The person had merged the layers and in the end they sent me all the files again anyway. Thanks for your help.
