Compatability of R1 to R6 Messaging License Card

If you have a port licensing card that is currently running in an R1 Partner Messaging, if you upgrade to the R6 module, can you still use your original port licensing card that was in the R1? Thanks in advance.

all acs partner messsing license port cards are compatible even with R7.
