My mother language is English, my second one is German. I write concepts in German, which are almost perfect as far as the language goes, I do tend to forget one or two endings here and there.

I send my concept to someone who has a mobile smart phone which can deal with text files but not Word. This person corrects the two or three words in a 50 page concept and sends it back.

How can I compare the two texts quickly using VBA, to see where there are differences?

TIA for any good ideas,

By the way, you don't have to worry about funny file formats, my idea is to put the two texts old and new into two word documents, if necc. without formatting etc and so make them as similar as possible.

Try Word. Help menu. Search on Compare Documents. I've not done this, just looked it up.
"Compare two copies of a document
Open the edited copy of the document.

On the Tools menu, point to Track Changes, and then click Compare Documents.

Open the original document.

If neither the edited version nor the original version of the document has tracked changes, Microsoft Word displays the edited copy of the document with revision marks indicating what changed from the original.
If either version of the document has tracked changes, Word displays a message box. Click Yes to compare the documents."
Generate Forms/Controls Resizing/Tabbing Class
Compare Code (Text)
Generate Sort Class in VB or VBScript
