Does anyone know if there is a utility to compare screens and snipits written in foxpro for possible differences.

I'm assuming you are talking about code, Johnnie, not appearance. I use The SemWare Editor for my coding. It has a sweet little tool, TSEComp, which does a line-by-line file comparison of two files. Helps me keep the buggies down.

For visual comparisons I use IrfanView, a free and very powerful graphics program that comes to us from Bosnia.

Alternatively, you could use the DOS FC (File Compare) command to compare the differences between the screens. Use the SPR file from the screens you wish to compare and type at the DOS prompt:-

FC <screen name1> <screen name 2>
; Differences will be displayed to the monitor.

or:
FC <screen name1> <screen name 2> > myfile.txt
to output all differences to text file myfile.txt

HTH.
