Hello,

I have two tables containing forenames and surnames. I'd like to compare one against the other but :

- the same name might be spelt differently or mistyped in each of the tables (Jenny vs. Jennie, Mac vs. Mc);

- the names might have been entered in a different order, either in the same field (John Joe vs. Joe John) or entered into forename instead of surname (forename = Jenny Frank, surname = Jones vs. forename = Jenny, surname = Frank Jones).

Any ideas on how to do the comparison would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Ella
