Comparing Form password with MDW file password

I have created a form in access the our Supervisors will use to track complaints and discipline. However, I need to have 3 of the fields password protected (these are for management - changes to these fields should only be made by members of upper management). I have set up the fields as locked and when someone attempts to update the field, a form appears asking for their password (it opens for the currentuser). The field on this form is set up as a password field. The problems comes in when I try to compare the "VerifyPassword" field to the MDW password for the currentuser. I am not sure of how to do the comparison. Everything else appears to be working correctly.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Bob

Bob,

There's no need to go about it this way. Just use the MDW. In the Security FAQ there's code for figuring out whether or not a user belongs to a particular group. Make all of your decisions based on that information, not on passwords you store in a table. You're only making more work by having passwords in two places.
