Anyone have any document or whitepaper or refernce that i can use to size the hardware accordingly

IBM Redbooks:

"IBM eServer p5 570 Technical Overview and Introduction"
"Understanding IBM eServer pSeries Performance and Sizing"
"IBM Virutalization Engine Platform Version 2 Technical Presentation Guide"
"Advanced Virutalizatoin Features on p5 Servers"

There are probably more, the first 2 would be the first I would look at, and if you wanted more info on virutalization you can read the others. Your best bet is to go to and search for your topic then download the books.

Google for migrating solaris to AIX

tons of stuff

Unix *is* user friendly. It's just selective about who its friends are.
