Hello! First off thanks to anyone who responds and secondly, I'm sorry if this is a repost. I've read through similar posts, however they turned out unsucessful for my situation. Also, I'm currently using Crystal Reports XI and I'm fairly new to it...

I'm wondering if there is a way to compare date fields from a subreport and to field in the main report. From the main report I have COURT_APPEARANCE.APPEARANCE_DATE and from the subreport I have CASE_CHARGE_DISPOSITIONS.DISPOSITION_DATE. I need to see if there are any convictions 3 years after the COURT_APPEARANCE.APPEARANCE_DATE field. Is this possible? Thanks again for any assistance.

You should link the sub to the main report by moving the court_appearance.appearance_date to the right in the linking screen. You can allow it to link to the disposition date in the sub, but then you must go into the subreport->report->selection formula->record and change the formula to:

{CASE_CHARGE_DISPOSITIONS.DISPOSITION_DATE} in {?pm-COURT_APPEARANCE.APPEARANCE_DATE} to dateadd("yyyy",3,{?pm-COURT_APPEARANCE.APPEARANCE_DATE})
