Recently I inherited a project from an employee who has left the company. Noone is aware of what this person was working on and we've discovered the DEV and Prod databases were not at all the same. After backing everything up, my DBA has compared and synch'ed up all the tables, views, procedures etc. Is there a way to compare the DTS packages?

I want to have the two environments the same before I being any work on the project and given the number of other differences we've found, I expect the DTS packages are probably different as well.

Compair, probably not. Overwrite yes.

You can either restore the msdb database from production to dev. If you can't do that you'll have to move the DTS packages manually from one server to another.
