Has anyone ever install NT on this type of machine?
I will be doing this shortly and have not had the experiance on this machine. Anything that I should be aware of. Or is the install
typical.
The machine is fully loaded(4processors 15 9.1 drives blah blah)

Yes, this server is a typical install for NT. My only comment is make sure you have the most recent version of drivers for your RAID controller (a 2DH?). You also will want to make sure you have the most recent Compaq HAL for this machine as well.

Ooops, the raid controller is actually a 3100ES...

My PROLIANT 7000 is loaded with PII XEON 500MHZ 2MB CACHE 512MB of RAM and 6 pcs of 9.1GB WU2 SCSI.

Installed with windows 2000 server.Runs quite good and fast especially when configured to run at RAID 5.

NO issues so far...
