Compaq TL881 Mini Library - devconfig & element #s

I am trying to configure TSM to work with a Compaq TL881 Mini Library. My goal is to first get it working under AIX (TSM), then to see if I can get it to work under Linux (TSM)... I am running TSM v5.2


Does anyone know of a chart that outlines the element numbers for a Compaq TL881 Mini Library? It has 2 drives and 10 tape slots..

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

install a utility called tapeutil on your AIX box, then you will be able to manipulate your library, and get an inventory , giving you also details about the element numbers.Don't forget to install atape for accessing your drives...
