I have a Compaq R1500XR connected to a 2 DL380 SMP machines
Running Fedora The included software for Linux Lansafe 3 does not work at all I have contacted the company and their basic advice was wait until we come out with a fix

Obviously I needed a solution
I downloaded powerd for linux which detected my ups and is able to shut down both the directly connected server and the 2nd server over the network the problem I'm having is that because it is a smp machine the system will not shutoff. I need to find a way to either power down the smp servers or turn off the ups does anyone have any ideas
maybe someone knows which pin on the serial cable controls shutdown for the R1500 XR or maybe someone knows of a alternate way to power down to compaq server.
