Hi All,

I have 2 servers that I received last week. I removed the Raid controllers and gave both away. One was 3200 and one was 2DH. I connected the cable that was attached to the Raid controller to the onboard SCSI. I also removed the drives and returned those not exactly in the same order.
Now, all the drives when I boot the servers show the red led on (error) and are showing as FAILED or not detected at all. As far as I was told all the drives were working when I got the servers. I don't think that all drives are dead.
Can someone help with this issue?
Thanks in advance,
ZX6Man.

Have you tried using the system erase utility on the SMART Start CD?

I don't have the CD (I bought ver 6.40 thinking it will work on those old servers) but I downloaded the erase util and the other utils from the net and it did not work. I just bought version 5.50 and will try it again when I get it this week.
Thanks for your reply Patrick.
