Compaq Presario 7360 Ess Allegro sound will not respond

I am currently working on a Compaq Presario 7360 with a Ess Allegro chipset on the motherboard. I have restored the system and still cannot get the sound to respond. It appears to be ok and show no conflicts ??

Have you downloaded the softpaq from Compaq?

If you are still having problems post again and we can look at some other options..

What O/S was that one?
