Was give a Compaq Deskpro EN machine.
I try to power it on and it asks me for the power up password.
I haven't got a clue as to what it is.

Anyone have any help.
I don't mind having to short out pins on the MB if that is what it takes to bypass this artifical barrier.

Did you try removing the CMOS battery from the MB for at least an hour?

The only way around it is to short the pins on the mb...
