Compaq Blade BL10e - MSCDEX w/ USB CD in DOS

We've created an unattended build system for our servers, and would like to try and run it on the Compaq blades. It runs off of a CD-Rom drive in DOS which is where our problem is.

In order to access anything on the CD besides the boot image files, we need to load the MSCDEX drivers so that the CD is assigned a drive letter. The problem is, I can not get the USB CD-Rom drive to load into DOS properly. Has anyone done this with the Compaq blades? There are some USB CD drivers out there, but I haven't had any luck so far. We're using the Compaq-recommended Teac 10x CD drive.

I'm aware of the PXE and Altiris options, and we do use them, but we're looking to run it this way to get a clean copy of our unattended build onto a blade without having a network connection.

Thanks!
