Compaq and Linux

Hi all. I have an old compaq presario that I am putting a new Hard Drive in and want to install Red Hat. The motherboard carries video and sound onboard. Does anyone know if Comapaq will run Linux? Matt Wray

I think, compaq id no vendor for that gfx card and sound card. And I also think, compaq would not use some low end and not used hardware. From these, I think, linux will work and run fine on that ;-)))
