Hi you who will read this post

My boss ask me to install a companion lab at our office. Companion are a complete mystery for me. I do know quite a lot about the Nortel product line but not those wireless solutions.

I have the antenna, the handset, the MICS 4.1 and everywhere I look on the web they talk about an RPI. I think that it's sort of multiple antenna switch and power supply.

Do I need that RPI if I install only one antenna?

Also is there a special module, version,etc... required in the MICS?

I'm in Canada so no problem I think for the keycodes?

Best regards

I haven't done Companion work in probably 10 years or more but as I recall it wasn't that fun. There is quite a bit of programming involved to get those handsets working. I hope that you have the installation manual or a phone number to a tech that knows this or can remember it.
