Hi

We have a working companion system with C3050 C 02.01 sets,
we bought new sets (C3050 E 03.40 rev2).

On the working sets when we start them we have an option to choose private or public and then we choose private and we are asked for a password and the link is up.

On the new sets(Rev2) when we start them we don't have any private or public option also we are not asked for a master password and there is no link. We have 12 new sets
all Rev2 and all giving same symptoms.

Any idea?

We have addsystem1.
We try to add system but got no connection

Yes registration is turned on.

We have working sets( C3050 C02.01) when we start them we have an option to choose private or public and then we choose private and we are asked for a password and the link is up.

What is the difference between etiquette or CT2plus system??

Is there any difference between Companion sets for EMEA or Europe or Canada/USA for example??

Could it be that these sets are not for EMEA region were we are installing them?

I've never seen the Public or Private option here in the USA.
CT2 plus is the Canadian version.
Etiquette is the US version.

Back in the C3050 days, I can only remember the option to add a system. If the handset had never been registered before it would automatically come up with system 1.

Does your companion require keycodes?
