Can anyone confirm that the coax impedance for the external antenna for companion is 50 ohm on RG 58 Copper braid shield?
Need to make some antennas for a customer.

You are correct, but when you put antenna on base station. Base station no longer works, the antenna becomes the base station.
Good Luck!!

Weellll..
THanks Executone,,, but its not that the base station stops working, it's that the internal antenna is bypassed to use the external antenna (switchable in programming). I just needed some confirmation on the coax impedance.

Thanks

You are correct. I had to do reavaluation after changing to external antennas.

Good Luck!!
