Hi All,

I have seen the my one databases mdf and ldf files are very large.

Is there a way of compacting\repairing these files? 9I guess somethign similar to what Access does when you compact and repair?)

Any guidance will be appreciated.

Michael

Michael,

Sounds like you need to clear out the committed transactions from your t-log and shrink the file. Have a look here:

I have never run into your problem with the .mdf but this looks like it might be helpful

Hope this helps,

Alex
