Compact Plus Stopped Ringing and showing 1

[HARD KNOCKS]

We have a Nortel compact plus system that has been working fine for many years. All extensions are set to show and ring incoming lines. It all of a sudden stopped showing and ringing on all lines. You can dial out fine and if you call from a mobile you can answer the call by presding the line even though it does not show the call or ring. I can not find anything out of the ordinary i. The system.

Any suggestions are much appreciated.

1st, reboot & test. Then try changing the line card(s) & test.

Reboot was first step. No change.
Will a failing line card stop ringing and showing but still allow outgoing calls and incoming to be answered (when you know that its ringing because you are calling from your mobile)?

Possible the line card but also possible not enough voltage from the carrier to ring the line.

Good call Curlycord. It was an issue with the telco hardware down the road. They sent a tech out and it was fixed in about 1/2 hour. He did not check back in so I am not sure what he found. The lines just started ringing agan after he left the box diwn the road.
